SHELLIE A. EDWARDS D.D.S.
Dr. Shellie Edwards is living her dream. She opened her family dental practice in El Dorado Hills where she lives and is raising her family. She is a Sacramento native who is passionate about life, family and her profession. Dr. Edwards has created a gentle, caring and comfortable dental environment that patients appreciate as soon as they walk through the door. Described as approachable and honest, she focuses on patient education and preventative care.
Dr. Edwards is skilled in all aspects of dentistry. She also has a special place in her heart for children and has a tremendous amount of experience working with them. Her friendly, compassionate personality makes patients of all ages look forward to coming to the dentist.
While not at the office Dr. Edwards loves spending time with her husband and their young children. She enjoys doing anything athletic including working out and hot yoga, but especially snow skiing in Tahoe. On relaxing days she and her husband enjoy watching college football, the Sacramento Kings or sitting down to read a good book.
EDUCATION
Dr. Shellie Edwards received an athletic scholarship to attend California State University, Sacramento where she excelled both as a student and an athlete. She was a member of the Women's Rowing team and served as their team captain. In 1998 she was named a NCAA All American. Sacramento State also honored her as one of their student athletes of the year three years in a row.
To compliment her athletic accomplishments, Dr. Edwards graduated in 1998 Suma Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology with a concentration in Anatomy and Physiology. She continued on to receive her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of California, Los Angeles's School of Dentistry in 2002. There she excelled and graduated with honors in Esthetic, Prosthodontic and Pediatric Dentistry.
Since graduating from dental school, Dr. Edwards has committed to keeping up with the latest technologies and procedures. She is an active member of various dental organizations and attends numerous continuing education courses. She also volunteers her time to help underprivileged children receive much needed dental treatment.

RYAN J. EVERHART D.D.S.
Dr. Everhart is a local to the Sierra foothills. He grew up in Roseville, Folsom, and El Dorado Hills and it has always been his wish to return to the foothills to live, work, and play. He is so grateful now to have fulfilled his personal and professional aspirations. Dr. Everhart’s goal is to provide personalized care with attention to detail at every step. He strives to ensure that his patients are comfortable and feel welcomed at our office.
In his leisure time, Dr. Everhart enjoys boating on Folsom Lake (when there is water of course!), skiing and snowboarding at Lake Tahoe, scuba diving, traveling, soccer, and his latest hobby - photography.
EDUCATION
Dr. Everhart completed his undergraduate training at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. While at Cal Poly, he earned both a Bachelor and Masters degree in Computer Science. His Master's thesis paper explored his research on enhancing digital dental radiography and Dr. Everhart is proud to say it now sits on the shelf in the school library. He continued on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco.
AFFLIATIONS
Dr. Everhart is a member of the Sacramento District Dental Society, California Dental Association, and American Dental Association. He is also a member of the Camlog Implant Study Club and the Sacramento chapter of The Seattle Institute Study Group. These study groups are a collaboration of distinguished local general dentists and specialists who meet regularly to present and discuss the management of difficult treatment cases.
